Captain Charlie
Bio
Captain Charlie has been playing music since 2005. She started when she was 14, a few years after being adopted, and at age 17 a motorcycle ride with a stranger was the catalyst for an adventure that would take her across the country in search of home. Along the way, she wrote music to help make sense of things, and she shares that music and her story in the hopes that it helps others as they travel through life.
Why make my content free?
You may notice that my music and songbook are all freely accessible. It's important to mention that these creations took years of effort, and at this time, I still personally handle all aspects of publishing, recording, and writing to enable access without limitation. I offer them freely not because they lack value or were simple to create, but because I don't want anyone to be left out for lack of funds. My art is for making change, not making profit.
The saying goes, 'nice guys finish last,' yet it's worth contemplating that perhaps they finish last because they make sure no one is left behind....
