Welcome! I'm Captain Charlie. I've been playing guitar and singing since 2005, busking since 2009.

I travel and busk to share my story and to act as proof that when you live a kind life, life is kind in return. My hope in sharing is not to gain admiration, fame, or credit, but rather to ignite inspiration in others, however I can, to believe in themselves, to care for themselves and others, to be mindful of the company they keep, and to be a kind human being.

You may notice that my music and songbook are all freely accessible. It's important to mention that these creations took years of effort, and at this time, I still personally handle all aspects of publishing, recording, and writing to enable access without limitation. I offer them freely not because they lack value or were simple to create, but because I don't want anyone to be left out for lack of funds. My art is for making change, not making profit.

The saying goes, 'nice guys finish last,' yet it's worth contemplating that perhaps they finish last because they make sure no one is left behind....
